Purpose:

Distribute air pressure to traction (drive) axles in a controlled way, especially under low-traction or slippery conditions. Isolate / regulate traction control air signals so that when wheels need extra grip or when slip is detected, the system can modulate air delivery. Relay function: It acts as an intermediary (relay) valve that takes a supply air input and delivers it to multiple output (delivery) ports under certain conditions. Improves stability / safety: By controlling how air is supplied to drive axles, it helps maintain traction, especially when some wheels might slip. |
