Image & Thermal Issues

Power & Communication Issues
Camera not detected by host device
USB / SPI / I²C communication errors
Camera works only sometimes
Works when cold, fails when warm (or vice versa)

Thermal Sensor Damage
One area always hot or always cold
Burned or dead pixel clusters
Damage after:
Overheating
Static electricity (ESD)
Overvoltage
Moisture exposure

 Physical / Environmental Damage
Corrosion on connector pins
Cracked lens or window
Condensation inside the module
Device overheats quickly

Firmware / Software Symptoms
Camera detected but no image
Wrong resolution or format output
Image upside-down or corrupted
Fails after firmware update

Quick sanity checks
A healthy FLC20 camera should:
Show clear contrast between warm and cool objects
Update smoothly (no freezing)
Improve after a short warm-up (1–2 minutes)
Perform periodic FFC (flat-field calibration)
If it never stabilizes or shows static patterns, it’s likely bad.
