1. Loss of Power or Sluggish Acceleration

A noticeable decrease in engine responsiveness, especially during acceleration, can indicate inadequate air intake due to turbocharger issues. This results in reduced engine power.

2. Excessive Exhaust Smoke

If you observe blue or gray smoke from the exhaust, it may be due to oil leaking into the exhaust system, a common symptom of turbocharger failure. This occurs when internal seals wear out, allowing oil to enter the exhaust stream.

3. Unusual Noises

A high-pitched whining, siren-like sound, or grinding noises from the engine bay can indicate bearing failure or foreign object damage within the turbocharger. Such noises often precede complete turbo failure. 

4. Increased Oil Consumption
