Description:
A Control Window Regulator Left Side R211021 is the mechanism inside a car door that moves the window up and down. It works together with either a manual crank or an electric window motor, depending on the vehicle.

Part Number: R21-1021, R211021, R21 1021
Condition: New
Manufacture/Brand: Paccar

Fits R211021 For
Kenworth
Peterbilt

Purpose of using R211021:

1. Raises and Lowers the Window

The regulator converts:

  • Motor power (in power windows) or

  • Hand crank movement (in manual windows)
into up-and-down motion of the glass.

2. Keeps the Window Stable and Aligned

It guides the glass along tracks so it:

  • Moves smoothly

  • Stays straight

  • Doesn’t wobble or fall

3. Holds the Window in Place

When the window is up, the regulator keeps it:

  • Secure

  • Sealed against the weather

  • Locked in position

4. Works With Door Electronics (Power Windows)

In modern cars, the regulator works with:

  • Window motor

  • Switch

  • Door control module
to give you easy, controlled window movement.

Signs of a Bad Control Window Regulator R211021:

1. Window Won’t Move

  • Window doesn’t go up or down at all

  • Nothing happens when you press the switch (or turn the crank)

2. Window Falls Down Into the Door

If the regulator breaks or disconnects, the glass may drop suddenly.

3. Window Moves Slowly or Unevenly

  • Moves up crooked

  • Struggles or stops halfway

  • Very slow or jerky movement

4. Grinding, Clicking, or Popping Noises

Damaged cables, gears, or arms can cause:

  • Grinding

  • Clicking

  • Popping

  • Crunching

5. Motor Works but Window Doesn’t Move

You may hear the motor running, but:

  • The glass doesn’t move

  • Move slightly then slips
This usually means the regulator mechanism, not the motor, is failing.

6. Window Gets Stuck

  • Stuck in the up or down position

  • Needs to be pulled by hand

  • Moves only when pushed or tapped

7. Window Goes Up, Then Slides Back Down

Often caused by a worn regulator track or broken clips.
