Description:
An A/C liquid line HL6001-199 (also known as a refrigerant liquid hose) is a key component of a vehicle's air conditioning (A/C) system. Its job is to transport high-pressure liquid refrigerant from the condenser to the expansion valve or evaporator, where cooling happens. Liquid AC Line, Cab Liquid For Peterbilt 567, Kenworth T880, work condition, used take-off Kenworth T880 2024

Part Number
: HL6001-199, HL6001199
Condition: Used In Good Condition
Manufacture/Brand: Paccar

Fits HL6001-199 For Peterbilt 567, Kenworth T880, PACCAR / Peterbilt trucks (and potentially Kenworth under PACCAR group) for their A/C refrigerant plumbing.

Purpose of using HL6001-199:

  • Prevents DEF from Freezing

    • DEF (32.5% urea + 67.5% water) freezes at 12°F / -11°C.

    • This valve opens to allow hot engine coolant to flow through DEF lines or tanks to thaw frozen DEF.

  • Regulates DEF Heating

    • Prevents overheating of DEF by opening/closing based on temperature feedback from sensors or ECM commands.

  • Enables Proper DEF Injection

    • Ensures DEF is at the right temperature to be atomized and injected into the exhaust system for NOx reduction via SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction).

  • Emissions Compliance

    • Helps the vehicle meet EPA and Euro emissions standards by keeping DEF fluid operational in all conditions.

Signs of a Bad Liquid AC Line HL6001-199:

Frozen DEF system / no flow
Check engine light or DEF system error
Slow or failed DPF regeneration
Poor DEF dosing or injector malfunction
Engine derate (reduced power) due to emissions system failure
