1. ABS Warning Light or Brake Light Turns On

• The ABS light, Brake light, or both may illuminate

• Often the first and most obvious symptom

• The module stores fault codes that point to ABS system issues

2. Anti-Lock Brakes Stop Working

• ABS will be disabled, and the vehicle may revert to normal braking

• During hard braking, wheels may lock up, causing skidding

3. Traction Control or Stability Control Light Comes On

• Since ABS, Traction Control, and ESC share sensors and circuits, module failure can trigger:

  • TCS light

  • ESC/ESP light

4. Brake Pedal Feels Unusual

• Pedal may feel:

  • Harder than normal
