Purpose of using E17-6026A:

In trucks with manual or automated manual transmissions, the clutch servo:

  1. Receives driver input from the clutch pedal.

  2. Uses air pressure or hydraulic assist to amplify that input.

  3. Applies force to the clutch linkage or clutch release bearing to engage/disengage the clutch.

This reduces the amount of physical pressure a driver needs to apply, especially useful in:
