When paired with adaptive cruise control, it:

• Keeps a consistent, safe gap between vehicles

This reduces driver workload on long highway drives.

3. React faster than human reflexes
Radar systems like the FLR20 can:

• Measure distance and speed instantly
• Respond in milliseconds

That’s often faster than a human can perceive and react, especially in sudden slowdowns.

Adaptive cruise control stops working

Intermittent issues

This can indicate:

• Internal electronics failure
• Wiring/connectivity issues

Not always the module itself

Before assuming the FLR20 is bad, check:

• Dirty or blocked radar sensor (mud, ice, snow)
• Misalignment (after a bump or accident)
• Wiring/connectors
• Need for recalibration after repairs
