• Power windows → raise/lower glass
• Door locks → lock/unlock doors
• Side mirrors → adjust position (and sometimes fold)
• Window lock → disable passenger window controls
• Child safety features (in some vehicles)

 1. Power windows stop working

• Window won’t go up or down from one switch
• Works from another door but not the main switch (common on driver side)

 2. Door locks don’t respond

• Pressing lock/unlock does nothing
• Only some doors lock/unlock
• Works with key fob but not from the door switch

 3. Side mirrors won’t adjust

• Mirror controls stop responding
• Mirrors move only in certain directions or not at all

 4. Intermittent operation

• Works sometimes, then stops
• You may need to press hard or repeatedly

 5. Some buttons work, others don’t

• Example: front windows work, rear windows don’t
• Lock button works but mirror control doesn’t

 6. No response at all

• Entire switch panel is dead
• No lights, no function (could also be wiring or fuse)

 7. Burnt smell or heat (rare but serious)

• Electrical failure inside the switch
• May feel warm or smell like burnt plastic
