Description:
A windshield wiper motor is an electric motor that powers the windshield wipers on a vehicle. Its job is to move the wiper arms and blades back and forth across the windshield to clear rain, snow, dirt, or debris, giving the driver better visibility in bad weather. Wiper Motor 5 Pin For Kenworth T680, T880, Peterbilt 579, work condition, used take-off Kenworth T880 2024
Fits For Kenworth T680, T880, Peterbilt 579
Purpose:
When you turn on the wipers, the wiper switch sends power to the wiper motor. The motor turns a gear mechanism (usually a worm gear) that reduces speed and increases torque. The gear drives a linkage assembly that converts the motor’s rotary motion into the back-and-forth motion of the wiper arms. The motor usually has multiple speeds (slow, fast, and intermittent) and may also have a "park" function to return the wipers to the bottom of the windshield when turned off. |
