| 1. Excessive Dashboard Flex or Movement
The dash feels loose, bouncy, or shaky when touched. You may notice it flexes when pressing buttons, controls, or resting hands on it. May be more noticeable on rough roads or when hitting bumps. 2. Squeaks, Rattles, or Vibrations Unusual noise from behind the dash, especially near the center console or passenger side (where B-panel reinforcements typically sit). Sounds worsen over time or with vibration from the engine or road. May sound like metal-on-metal or plastic creaking. 3. Misaligned or Loose Dash Components Switch panels, HVAC vents, or gauge clusters appear misaligned, uneven, or popping out. Some components may droop or shift when the truck is in motion. Mounting screws may keep coming loose or not hold properly. 4. Electrical or Control Module Problems Wiring harnesses and modules mounted to the reinforcement may get stressed or pulled.
